A Pit Stop

As Christa and I were driving down to NC for thanksgiving, we spent two days at Rachel's. We had a lot of fun.

Summer 2009

What a great summer we had. Sorry I am so late in posting. I always need some help, so I have to wait until one of my children are around to help me. Rebecca is here for a short vacation so I have put her to work. It is so fun having her and Ashlee and Benny here. I sure appreciate my children and their knowledge. They are the best. These pictures are of the second half of the summer, I will put some pictures on soon of the first half of the summer, with David and Brian and Wendy and their families. Linda and Emily and their families did not make to Alta this summer. But we expect them next summer. It was a busy and fantastic summer . This first picture is Christa and Harrison who managed to come to our Alta home several times this summer and I love it. Joe had to work and did not make it as often.
This is Janet enjoying the Alta yard. We enjoyed her a couple of time with her children. Again, Kelly had to work and did not get to come.
Janet and Kelly's kids enjoying playing in a wagon on the ranch.
Rachel and Brennan and Hunter, Cole and Noah on a ride on the fourwheeler.
Rebecca and Gabe and Ashlee and Benny enjoying the fourwheeler also.
Jacob and Hunter showing of the bow and arrows they made.
Me enjoying a love from AshleeWhat more could a mother ask, than to be surrounded by part of her beautiful daughters.
Only one thing as good, that is being surrounded by beautiful grandchildren. Aren't they the best.
We did get in a couple of trips in to Jackson Lake and fishing. Here is a sample with Rebecca and Gabe and Ashlee and Benny at Jackson Lake.

Our camp ground at Jackson Lake, notice the deer between Benny and Ashlee and the outhouse.

Rebecca managed to catch the only fish caught.
We had a few friend visit our Alta home. Here is Myrna and Everet Watts enjoying a game on the Wii.

Summer had to end sadly enough. Here is a Birthday party for Joe and Amber at Wendy's house just before we left for New York.

Here all four of us are enjoying a walk in the park in Volterra. The Medici Castle is in the background. It is currently used as a prison.

On the Spanish steps in Rome

We all know how much John loves ice cream. Here he is admiring the good gelato ice cream. He did that every day. Yum!!!!! I liked it too.

Here I am standing in the center of the the Vatican court yard.
